Prof. Bizzaro research line is focused on the analysis of gametic chromatin and evaluation of the paternal genome integrity as markers for male infertility, whether idiopathic or as consequence to exposure to environmental pollutants. 
Specifically, Prof. Bizzaro is interested in the assessment of epigenetic marks of spermatogenesis in different animal models. 
Other topics of research include cytogenetic and molecular analysis on parthenogenetic species of agricultural interest, with chromosomal translocation associated high levels of drug resistance.
