Department Director
 The Director of the Department of Life and Environmental Science for for what remains of the three academic year 2019/2021 is Prof. Francesco Regoli.
The Director represents the Department, promotes its activities and is responsible for its operation.
He convenes and presides over the Department Board and executes its decisions. He’s responsible of the administrative, accounting and financial management of the Department and exercises all the functions conferred to him by the Statute of this University. He is elected by all members of the Department Board, except the representation of teachers on contract and the assignees.
The Director holds office for three years and can not be re-elected consecutively more than once.
The Director nominates a Deputy among the professors of the Department, who substitutes him in his absence. replacing it in case of absence or temporary impediment.
