The Director of the Department of Life and Environmental Science three academic year 2025/2028 is Prof.ssa Francesca Beolchini. The Director represents the Department, promotes its activities and is responsible for its operation. She convenes and presides over the Department Board and executes its decisions. She’s responsible of the administrative, accounting and financial management of the Department and exercises all the functions conferred to her by the Statute of this University. She is elected by all members of the Department Board, except the representation of teachers on contract and the assignees. The Director holds office for three years and can not be re-elected consecutively more than once. The Director nominates a Deputy among the professors of the Department, who substitutes him in his absence. replacing it in case of absence or temporary impediment.
